Professional Training
What professionals are saying about their training experience with the Women's Center:
"Your presentation is arresting and your insight exceptional. I salute your honesty and unapologetic candor as an effective advocate. Wish we had more of it."
"Great information and format was simple and organized. Ideas given will lead us to be pro-active for change!"
"I thought that The Houston Area Women's Shelter was one of the most emotional and educational site visits that we had this past semester. Although initially a little put off by having to discuss such an uncomfortable topic in a room full of my peers, I thought that the facilitators there did an excellent job of forcing us out of our comfort zones so that we could talk about physical and emotional abuse - an issue that all of us will see at some point during our medical careers."
